Corunna logging concerns revealed to Sydney audiences via 2SERFM


The Corunna Forest issue has made significant inroads into the Sydney audience today by being featured on their Weekend Breakfast program. "You would have thought, that in today’s day and age, there would be more care, when it comes to managing biodiversity hotspots and the integrity of vulnerable sea lakes. However, according to citizens fighting to save Corunna State Forest on the Nature Coast of New South Wales, home to sublime beauty, the masked owl and white bellied sea eagles, it is an uphill battle holding the logging industry to account. Residents such as Elizabeth Walton, have encountered numerous instances, where loggers have breached the ‘threatened species license’ and ‘exclusion zones’ in the southern forests.
