The SAGE Veggies for All team is delighted to announce that they will be running an additional Veggies for All workshop in Tuross Head at the Tuross Head Men's Shed. Robert Cove and Kathryn Maxwell will be presenting the workshop. They are both keen veggie gardeners and have now installed over 100 veggie beds for Centrelink recipients across the Eurobodalla through the Veggies for All program. “The course will outline the basics of successful veggie growing and workshop recipients will receive someveggie seedlings to get them going,” said Rob. “Centrelink concession card holders who complete the workshop will be given the option of having SAGE assist with setting up an above ground veggie bed in their garden, complete with soil, compost, mulch andseedlings, at no cost,” added SAGE Veggies for All Coordinator Kathryn Maxwell. Made possible by a generous grant from the IMB Community Foundation, Centrelink concession card holders who complete the workshop will be given the option of having SAGE assist with setting up an above ground veggie bed in their garden, complete with soil, compost, mulch and seedlings, at no cost.
