Changed Traffic Conditions On Princes Highway Across Coila Creek Bridge

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Coila Creek Bridge on the Princes Highway at Coila for essential maintenance work.

Work involves upgrading the current anti-corrosion system to help prevent future maintenance issues.

Work will be carried out Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm from Monday 19 November to Wednesday 19 December, weather permitting.

A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists.

A single lane across the bridge will be closed for five to seven minutes for the delivery of materials between Monday 26 and Friday 30 November as well as between Monday 10 and Wednesday 19 December.

During this time traffic will be diverted onto the adjacent carriageway around the work zone.

Motorists should allow an additional five minutes travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and reduce speed limits.

Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience during this time.
