The Batemans Bay Visitor Centre will again display the artistic creations of Batemans Bay High School students in its Land of Many Waters Gallery this month.
The exhibition includes sculpture, painting, drawing, photomedia, ceramics and printmaking created by year 7 to 12 students, who used the art to explore their understanding of the world.
Council’s Tourism Marketing and Visitor Services Coordinator Lysanne Cameron said the visitors centre had hosted the students’ artwork annually for the past two years.
“It’s always wonderful to have the students’ beautiful artwork brightening up the visitor centre and to see the way they interpret their different experiences,” she said.
“This exhibition provides a great opportunity for students to connect with the community and share their wonderful work in a professional exhibition space.”
The exhibition will be officially opened on the night of Tuesday 20 November and will continue during visitors centre opening hours until Tuesday 27 November.
All are welcome and entry is free.
