Tuross Head Country Club men's golf Saturday Novemebr 17th


Tuross Head Country Club men's golfers competed in a par event on Saturday with Brenden Taylor emerging as the winner with a score of plus 6.

He was followed by Darren Wilmouth and Graeme Sindel who both returned cards of plus 4.

Remaining voucher winners for the day were Allen Gannon and Roger Chappell who both finished with scores of plus 3.

Nearest trhe pins were won by:

A grade division player Colin Houghton on the 4th hole with 4.97 m.

Adam Husband was closest on the 6th with 2.40 m and Allen Gannon was best on the 7th with 5.3 m.

B grader John Phyland won the 4th with 3.57 m.

Jim Wade was closest on the 6th with 3.99 m and Ron Rogers won the 7th with 3.75 m.

C grade player Peter Johnston was best on the 4th hhole with 3.90 m.

Peter Dugan won thje 6th with 2.73 m and

Darren Wilmouth the 7th with 3.73.

Golfers are reminded that the THCC Open Championships commence on Saturday December 2nd.

Thursday medley 18 hole stableford competition was won by Jim Madden with 38 points ahead of Ian Kingston and Allen Gannon who both finished with 36 points.

Ian Manton returned a score of 35 points.

Nearest the pins were awarded to Allen Gannon, Marie Muriwai and Colin Houghton.
