Council offices, depots and libraries will close for the holiday season at 12.30pm on Monday 24 December 2018 and reopen on Wednesday 2 January 2019. During the closure: • The waste management facilities at Surf Beach, Moruya and Brou will remain open except on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. • household bin collection will continue as normal • Moruya Airport will continue as normal • Out of School Hours care will close on 24 December 2018 at 6pm and reopen on 2 January 2019 at 8am • the Visitor Information Centre in Batemans Bay and the Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma swimming pools will open as normal, except on Christmas Day • community aged care and disability services will provide essential planned services. During this time, residents can phone 4474 1000 or the after-hours service on 1800 755 760 for emergencies such as water and waste issues, ranger issues (eg. stray dogs, abandoned vehicles), environmental health and urgent road matters.
