Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya reports that they were called to a house fire in Tuross Head on December 21st Fire tenders P384 and P384s were called to house fire in Beatty Crescent ,Tuross Head. On arrival they reported to have found the house fully involved with fire adding that unfortunately not much was able to be saved with the garage and small room off the house were only structures saved on property. The report added "Numerous RFS brigades also attended to assist. Firefighters spent four hours on scene before it was declared out. Unknown cause at this stage with site handed to police." The crew ask that the community "Please remember do not overload power boards with Christmas lights or anything, ensure lint filters in dryers are clean before each use, keep everything a metre from the heater and don’t stop looking while cooking.This time of year is especially hard to lose all your possessions so a few little steps will help."
