The Narooma Motors Classic And Fancy Car And Bike Show Is On Again! Australia Day, January 26th, 201

  • Eurobodalla Shire is backing us again and allowing free use of NATA Oval on the Princes Highway/Bluewater Drive - so that's FANTASTIC news and many thanks to them!

  • Club Narooma is our first major Business Sponsor and will also be hosting a Rockabilly Themed Dinner and Dance night with live music after the event. Very swish menu to be announced. Tickets will be on sale in November via this website, and by phone. Tickets will be $50 and include a full three course meal. You will need an active email address to receive and print your ticket. There will be a 'Best Dressed' prize (to be announced). To book a ticket to the dinner/dance please call us (02) 44762080 to book and pay over the phone.

  • NTW has offered us $800 (!!!) worth of Avenger Tyres as a prize!

  • Casey's Cafe (Canty St Narooma) has joined us as a sponsor and will be offering up FREE COFFEE cards on site and in the showbags. By the way, their steak sandwiches are fabulous!

  • Kmart Bateman's Bay will be giving us a bunch of shopping vouchers to hand around!

  • Pop-Up Putt Putt will be there offering amazingly fun entertainment for the young and the young at heart (and anyone who needs a challenge).

  • The Tree Motel has joined us as a Sponser, and a great big Thankyou to them. They have a wonderful pool in a gloriously posh setting by the way. Thoroughly recommend The Tree Motel if you'll be staying here for the weekend.

  • Seasalt Cafe Dalmeny has joined us as a sponsor! Many thanks to them (and their coffee is absolutely first rate).

  • Compleat Angler Narooma has joined us as a sponsor, many thanks to them. If you are a fishing person, they are THE place to go.

  • Mannat Residency/Roxy's Cafe have joined us as a sponsor. Great food and a great place to stay. Mannat Restaurant might even have a pop-up cafe on the day.

  • Shannon's have offered us their Supertruck!

  • Extra and warm Thankyou to Di Riley for her fundraising and her event organising talent and expertise.

  • Any sponsorship funding left over will be donated to charity.

  • Sadly, local business has been disappointing in their support of this event, but this event will remain FREE no matter what!

The Cars:

  • Just about anything that could be considered out of the ordinary is welcome, the fancier the better. Veteran, vintage, antique, musclecars, Fords, Holdens, enthusiasts all are encouraged to bring their pride and joy to the paradise that is Narooma for a day of Show and Shine, food, music and camaraderie, followed by a posh dinner and dance at Club Narooma for those who wish.

  • Entrants interested in the actual competition must be on display before 11am.

  • There will be TEN trophies and prizes on offer (1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best Original (restored), Best Survivor (unrestored), Captain's Pick, Best Ladies, Best Motorcycle, Best Modified and Best in Show). All trophies will carry a cash or voucher (or something) prize.

  • Judging will be well complete before 1pm and winners announced before 2pm.

Other things and events include:

  • Food!!! Riverside Pizza (best pizza you EVER had), Kitchenboys serving up their very fine fare, The Fix coffee van, Marine Rescue with their BBQ. and possibly Mannat Restaurant offering up some Indian cousine. Should be enough!

  • Tim Burke of Slightly Twisted Productions will be our official photographer this year. We were badly let down last year, but this year we have it covered!

  • Radio 2EC will be there again for about four hours offering up their special blend of music and live chat. Sponsors will have the opportunity to spruik their business, entrants can chat about their pride and joy, and 2EC will be handing out various random prizes.

  • Family friendly events, with prizes, will include traditional favourites like a 3-legged race (parent and child); cardboard box car race for the littlies (they create a car from a box, decorate it, then we have a race!); Hoop toss; Tyre rolling (someone can have the tyres if they want); Beanbag toss, etc. We hope to have someone of some celebrity to run these events.

  • Random prizes of Narooma Motors service vouchers, and as much promotional stuff as we can muster, possible cash prizes and whatever else we can think of!

Last year we got caught a bit with more entrants than expected, so we ran late with the judging - this year we've got that all sorted too. We hope to have a celebrity judge and/or a Eurobodalla Shire Councillor.

Tickets to the Dinner/Dance at Club Narooma (6.00 - 10.30) are now available! Call (02) 44762080 to book and pay.
