Forty eight players registered for the first game of 2019, including five visitors joining us for the morning. Of the five, one was originally from Liverpool in the UK, and another from California, USA. Perhaps they'd heard about the Tuross course being rated amongst the top 25 9 hole courses in Australia!
Somewhat surprisingly, the winner today was our Californian visitor, Tom Makdissy, who had not before played the course but scored a very respectable 22 points. Tom beat home local players Len Rogers, Des Jackson, Les Johanson and Steve Johnston, all on 21. Balls or chocolates went to Denis Benger, Richard Kelly, Neal Watson and Herb Muriwai on 20, Kevin Dukes and Kathy Crossling on 19, and finally Gail Rogers and Tim Starr on 18. The Bradman award was won by another of our visitors Tim Dyer, whilst Nearest the Pins were won by Bruce Ware on the 4th, Neal Watson on the 6th, and Leonie Snodgrass and Des Jackson on the 7th. Sandra Hanlon took out the Accuracy award.
