ABC South East NSW reports:· 🌫 SMOKEY SMELL 🌫 Firefighters say the smoke appearing along the Far South Coast is a combination of smoke travelling north from the Gippsland fires and sea spray. The Bega Valley Rural Fire Service says there are no fires burning in coastal areas in the South East as of 10 AM today. The Eurobodalla Rural Fire Service has also been receiving concerned calls regarding smoke in the region area due to smokedrift from the southern fires ************************************************ An emergency warning in Gippsland has been downgraded to watch and act as a cool change hit after temperatures soared into the 40s.
