Government Bend on the Clyde Mountain a few years ago?

Edited: the old photo below turns out to be Macquarie pass that does look much like Government Bend.

Government Bend was named such because, typically like the government, it would go one way and then with little notice go the opposite way. The Bend that we know now was widened when Eurobodalla Council undertook "minor scabbling" of the rock face that saw thousands of cubic metres taken out instead

And for a bit of fun - here is Brown Mountain in the early days

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
