The Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya crew were called to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) at 9:25am this morning to assist RFS, just off Princes Highway on Misons Rd. On arrival a man was found to be trapped in his vehicle after hitting a tree and was being treated by an attending ambulance. P384 set up fire protection initially before the arrival the Rural Fire Service (RFS) who then took over fire protection. A short time later RP217 from Batemans Bay arrived along with SES following behind. The driver was stabilised in the vehicle before being removed by firefighters and later taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 remind drivers to please remember to slow down and drive to conditions, this also means dirt roads. Don’t become complacent even if you travel the same road multiple times a day.
