Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway from Monday 11 February for utility service upgrades to be carried out between Clyde and North streets.
The southbound slow lane will be closed for the relocation of underground utility services in preparation for major work on the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project. When complete, the project will improve travel times and provide safer journeys for motorists.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am and 1pm on Saturdays, weather permitting.
Traffic control will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists. To minimise impacts to motorists, the current speed limit will remain in place.
Motorists will be restricted to one southbound lane for the duration of the work.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thank the community for its patience while work is carried out.
