Moruya River boat leaks diesel .. again

Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya report:

7/2/19 2057 P384 once again called to boat leaking diesel on Moruya river.

Once on the scene it was established that a large diesel spill was coming from a boat, with a strong odour of diesel present detectable from both sides of the river.

With assistance from P384s and Moruya SES crews got to work putting more hydrocarbon booms around boat to limit the spread of diesel.

The RMS and EPA have been notified of spill to follow up with boat owner. Police attended scene also.
