Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Dignams Creek from this week for road resurfacing as part of the $45 million upgrade.
Around 1.5 kilometres of existing highway south of Dignams Creek Road will be resurfaced to improve safety for motorists.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays from Wednesday 13 February to Friday 8 March, weather permitting. Work hours will be extended to 9pm on weekdays from Monday 18 February to progress the work.
For the safety of workers and motorists, stop/slow traffic control and temporary traffic lights will be in place during work hours. A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will also be in place for the duration of this project.
Motorists are advised to keep to speed limits, follow the direction of signs and traffic control and allow up to five minutes additional travel time during this work.
Roads and Maritime Services thank the community for its patience while work is carried out.
