Aboriginal Advisory Committee calling for members

Eurobodalla Shire Council is calling for expressions of interest to fill vacancies on its Aboriginal Advisory Committee.

Council would love to hear from Aboriginal people who can provide cultural advice and guidance on matters relating to Aboriginal people.

Committee members have the important role of engaging and representing their community to make sure Council understands the issues that are important.

The committee meets four times a year in Moruya and committee members must be willing to attend all four meetings. Transport assistance for members to attend can be provided.

To express your interest phone Council’s Community Development Officer Jordan Nye on 02 4474 1289 or email jordan.nye@esc.nsw.gov.au by Friday 1 March 2019.

More information, including the committee’s Terms of Reference and an application form, is on Council’s website www.esc.nsw.gov.au/haveyoursay

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand. Anyone who would like to contribute an opinion are encouraged to send in a Letter to the Editor where it might be considered for publication
