BTP: Macbeth Auditions

Come one, come all, players, dreamweavers and actors who love Shakespeare or the challenge of wonderful theatre. The time has arrived to find out more about the Bay Theatre Players 2019 mid-year production, a tragedy by William Shakespeare.

'Macbeth' is one of his shortest and most famous plays and the team that brought 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' to the Playhouse stage is gathering once again.

Artistic Director Sam Lloyd is inviting you all to come along to the information session to be held in the foyer of the Bay Playhouse in Gregory Street at 2:00pm on Saturday 16 March.

This is very much an adult play owing to the content of the production and very much an ensemble piece with numerous roles for actors aged 15 years and above, and just as in The Dream ensemble casting will be non gender specific.

Audition opportunities will take place on Saturday 23rd March at the Uniting Church, Beach Road. There will be two sessions held, beginning at 10 am and 1.30pm respectively.

So come along to the information session and find out how you can get involved, arrange your audition session, or put your hand up to help. For any further information contact Sam direct via email sam@webnall.com or 0410525705 and leave a message.
