2 one act plays in a 1930's radio station with live music headed up by the fantastic Stafford Ray
The Moruya based Red Door Theatre Company are again taking their next play on the road.
Moruya’s Red Door Theatre Company’ s fourth production will be Magical Moments Radio Show, on stage in March and April, with shows in Moruya, Tilba, Narooma and Broulee. Set in a radio station in Sydney in the 1930s it incorporates a radio play of the period, plus a one act farce, and advertisements and live music, all in true 1930s style. Music is from Stafford Ray and the Moonlighters, who performed with the theatre on their previous production.
The show has been brought together by Director, Linda Heald who said that “the production is a nostalgic window into a period which started radio entertainment in Australia. It is wonderful to be touring again with this talented group of actors in our Shire.
Tickets are now on sale for this touring performance at Moruya Books, and on line at SouthCoastTickets.
Sunday 14 April - 2pm St Peter’s Anglican College, Broulee.
