Motorists are advised the new Princes Highway and Dignams Creek Road intersection is open to traffic.
Motorists will now enter Dignams Creek Road from the new Princes Highway alignment 200 metres south of the new Dignams Creek Road Bridge.
The intersection is part of work for the Princes Highway upgrade at Dignams Creek.
Ongoing work on the upgrade will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 5pm on Saturdays.
For the safety of motorists and workers, traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place through the work site.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
The Princes Highway upgrade at Dignams Creek is on track to be complete by mid-2019, weather permitting.
