FREE Home Fire Safety Checks in the Moruya area

ATTENTION MORUYA RESIDENTS Are you concerned for a friend or loved one of their home being fire safe? Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya are offering FREE Home Fire Safety Checks, (HFSC), in the Moruya area. What is involved in a HFSC you ask? ~Firefighters will arrive to your home in a big red truck and will produce identification on who they are and why they are there,(Very important, if we don’t please ask us to show you) The Station 384 Crew say: ~We will ask you to show us around your home and show us your working smoke alarms. ~We will ask important questions regarding fires in and around your home and will give advice on how to best reduce the risk of a fire starting, and if a fire should start we give the best advice on what to do. ~If you don’t have any or enough working smoke alarms we will install them for FREE. Our smoke alarms have a 10 year guarantee that they won’t require a battery replacement so no need to for you to need to climb ladders or on chairs having to worry about changing batteries. ~We will also have loads of reading material, fridge magnets and some other goodies with important safety messages to also give you 100% FREE. Our HFSC is more aimed the elderly, frail or disabled and those who have trouble with smoke alarms and who may require a little more info, however we can still arrange a free check if you don’t fall into the above brackets.

To book a FREE check please follow this link, https://form.jotform.co/FRNSW384/HFSC

~We will never ask personal questions about you or your home, and remember to check our identification and if you feel as though someone arrives at your door (and NOT in a big red fire truck) you don’t believe to be who they say they are, never let them inside your home.
