During a press call Kerrie O’Conner of the Bay Post asked the Leader Of The Opposition, Bill Shorten for comment around funding for the Princes Highway.
In his response he first congratulated Ms O'Conner and her media organisation for their advocacy to then advise that a Labor Government will match the government promises. “We will match that – no difference”. Mr Shorten also advised that there have been discussions of doing some of the priority projects earlier. "Same as the government ... or better." said Mr Shorten.
