Motorists are advised of extended work hours on the Princes Highway at Dignams Creek on Saturday to continue asphalting work as part of the $45 million upgrade.
The southbound lane one kilometre north of Dignams Creek Road will be closed for 500 metres while the road base is replaced and surface resealed.
The work is being carried out until Tuesday 9 April between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 5pm on Saturday 6 April to complete the work.
A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will also be in place for the duration of the work.
For the safety of workers and motorists, temporary traffic lights in place on the Princes Highway will remain in operation outside of work hours.
Motorists are advised to keep to the speed limit, follow the direction of signs and traffic control, and allow up to five minutes additional travel time during this work.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
