2019 A4DE in Moruya has been Postponed



The much anticipated 2019 Australian 4 Day Enduro that brings motor bike riders from across the country to Moruya has been postponed. Scheduled for May 1st to 4th the 2019 A4DE (4-Day) is the Australian Motorcycle Enduro Championships which this year is being at Moruya (once a new date is set) o A4DE started back in 1978 and this year is the 41st A4DE. Across four days it is a family friendly event centred around the Moruya Showground from Wednesday 1st May to Saturday 4th May 2019 The Australian Four Day Enduro is one of the toughest , longest and highly recongnised events in the southern hemisphere, the event is an Australian championship event which enduro riders aspire to compete in and finish and pro riders strive to win. Run in a similar format to that of a car rally, each rider completes more than 250km of transport (trail) sections and 6 special test (speed) sections each day over 3 days with a final motocross being the final special test on day four, with a total of around 25 hours on the bike. After a successful 2018 event at Cessnock NSW , organisers are looking forward bringing such a prestigious event to Moruya. Awaiting approval from NSW Forestry has seen the event postponed to a date unknown. In an announcement regarding Australian 4-Day Enduro - A4DE Motorcycling Australia (MA)have stated: Motorcycling Australia (MA) seeks to advise all competitors and teams entered into the 2019 Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE), that the internationally recognised event has been postponed, with a date to be confirmed in due course.

Due to government approvals surrounding the environment in which the 2019 A4DE will take place, the date for this prestigious event has been delayed. To ensure that the area spanning the event’s four days are supported and protected to best of the Motorcycling New South Wales Enduro Committee’s and Far South Coast Motorcycle Club’s abilities, this change in date is vital to the success of the A4DE 41st anniversary.

To ensure the least amount of disruption to riders and teams alike, full refunds due to the date change will be provided, if requested, within 21 days. For a full refund please contact the A4DE secretary via secretary2019@a4de.com.au.
