Ann Ware Beats Home the Field
On what was a beautiful autumn morning another good field of 60 players registered for today's Par event. Winner on the day on +4 on count back was Ann Ware. Runner up was David Williams, also on +4, followed home by Derek Hoare on +3. Final money winner in 4th place was Ron Lunt on +2 on count back.
Balls or chocolates went to Dorothy Madden, Bruce Ware and Stephen Crossling on +2, Jeanette Miller, Kaye Lunt, Shirley Quinlan, Les Johanson, Steve Swanbury, Tim Starr and Terry Challender all on +1, and finally Herb Muriwai, Leonie Snodgrass, Richard Kelly and Ray Downey on square. This week's Bradman award was won by Greg Ware, whilst nearest the pins were won by Steve Swanbury on the 4th, Greg Smith on the 6th, and Annette Manton and Peter McRae on the 7th. Steve Johnston won the Accuracy drive on the 5th.
