Narooma CWA news

There was headscratching and memory searching in the CWA rooms Narooma last Wednesday at the “Name that Tune” music trivia afternoon tea. No-one came up with a perfect score but individuals on one table showed a broad range of music knowledge. Raffle winner of a music themed jigsaw puzzle was Sally James who passed it another member who loves jigsaws and has already completed it. Fun was had by all and the amount raised will be presented at next monthly meeting.

Later in the year the branch hopes for a crowd to enjoy Krazy karaoke.

Members were busy again on Easter Saturday with a garage sale in rooms, thanks to those who donated items, time, baked goods ( of which there were many) and friendly faces. A small Easter egg raffle was drawn at end of sale and Belinda Bywater was the happy winner. Results from the day’s efforts will be reported at next monthly meeting. This meeting will be held Friday 3rd MAY at 1pm in CWA Narooma rooms near cinema. Resolutions for upcoming State conference to be held in Albury in May will be discussed.

PS to attend CWA events/ meetings you do not have to be a member. We would love to see you there.
