Tight Finish in Tuross Vets Stableford Event
Another beautiful autumn morning attracted a large field of 69 players for today's Single Stableford event. Winner on the day was Greg Thornton with 21 points on count back from Alan McLeod also on 21. Annette Manton took out third place honours with 20 points on count back from Stephen Crossling. Balls or chocolates were won by Neil Mather and Ray Downey on 20, Ron Hanlon, Ross Hendy, John Cox and Lachlan Nordsvan on 19, Graham Moore, Kathy Crossling and Peg Nevett on 18, and finally Paul Rowe, Len Rogers, Jennifer Gray, Kay McLeod and Leonie Snodgrass on 17.
The infamous Bradman award was won by Herb Muriwai, whilst nearest the pins went to Lachlan Nordsvan on the 4th, Leonie Snodgrass on the 6th, and Chris Wratten and Michael Nordsvan on the 7th. This week's Accuracy drive was taken out by Chris Wratten.
