Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway from next week for routine vegetation removal. Work will take place at 17 separate locations for up to five days at each site between north of Batemans Bay and Pambula.
The routine vegetation removal is key in maintaining the road corridor and provides a clear line of sight for motorists.
Work will start just north of Batemans Bay, and will be carried out on weekdays between 7am and 5pm from Monday 29 April.
Work will move across 17 separate locations, with work at the final site at Pambula expected to be complete by mid-June 2019, weather permitting.
For the safety of workers and motorists, traffic control, single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place while work is carried out.
Motorists are advised to allow an additional five minutes extra travel time, follow the directions of signs and to drive to the conditions.
Roads and Maritime Services thank the community for its patience while work is carried out.
