Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden monthly guided walk Sunday May 5th

May will be a busy month for the Friends of Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden (ERBG), volunteers and staff.. On Sunday (May 5th) the regular First-Sunday-in-the-month guided walk will leave from the Garden’s Visitor Centre at 11 am. Please come five minutes early to talk to the volunteer guide about where you would like to walk, because as far as possible the walk will be tailored to fit visitors’ interests. The Banksias are starting to thrust candle-like flowers up for their winter display, and the kangaroos are enjoying the new grass. In the past few months work has proceeded apace on the redevelopment of the Visitor Centre. Construction on the new café gives a clear indication of its aspect towards the lake, making it a very attractive place for a cup of coffee once work is complete. The Garden is located on the corner of Deep Creek Dam Road, five kilometres south of Batemans Bay on the Princes Highway. Opening hours are 9 am to 4 pm, Wednesday to Sunday, and every day during the NSW school holidays. Entry is free.
