Last week was a sad one for aquafitters as they farewelled their classes at the Batemans Bay pool for six months. All agreed that it had been a great season, with mostly good weather (and sometimes fun in the rain!)

Thanks to Geoff and his staff for keeping the pool sparkling clean and warm, and the surroundings so well maintained. Geoff’s “thought for the day” and “word of the day” have been thought provoking and educational, as well as providing an element of fun.
Thanks also to Kim for her well constructed fitness sessions, complete with appropriate music and lots of variety and fun! Numbers of participants have dramatically increased this season, necessitating more classes, and Kim has gone to a lot of trouble to cater for all fitness levels at times to suit everyone.
Meanwhile, we will have to find other ways to maintain our fitness until the pool re-opens in October, when we sincerely hope both Kim and Geoff will be back.
