Corrigans Beach Reserve, 59 Beach Road, Batehaven Sun 12th May 2019 Time: 8:00am – 1:00pm Cost: $10.00 – $60.00 The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual 6km fun run and 4km walk held in Batemans Bay. The participants pay an entry fee, which goes towards breast cancer research and to help provide breast care nurses in local hospitals. The fun run begins at Corrigans Beach Reserve in Batehaven and participants run along the Batemans Bay bike path to the Esplanade Hotel and then return. The 4km walk also begins at Corrigans Beach Reserve and proceeds along Beach Road to the round-about at the Mariner Carpark and return. As Batemans Bay falls in the Regional Event category, participants are not issued with numbers and the run is not timed. The Rotary Club of Batemans Bay will be on hand to provide a BBQ, and coffee, cold drinks and ice cream will also be available to purchase.
