Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway between Shelley Road and Malabar Drive at Moruya from this weekend to complete new line marking to include a widened centreline.
One lane will be closed at a time in both northbound and southbound directions to complete the work.
To minimise the impact to motorists, the line marking work will be carried out at night between 7pm and 5am on Sunday 19 May, weather permitting.
Additional work to install signage and improve the road surface will be carried out during the day between 8am to 4pm on Monday 20 May, weather permitting.
Changed traffic conditions including lane closures, stop/slow traffic management and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
