Entries open for 2019 Eurobodalla Business Awards

Entries are now open for the 2019 Eurobodalla Business Awards, which celebrate business excellence throughout the region.

Categories this year include excellence in the areas of innovation, sustainability, social enterprise, export, micro business, small business and business, as well as categories for outstanding young employee, outstanding young entrepreneur and outstanding business leader, start-up superstar, local Chamber of Commerce and employer of choice.

There is also a People’s Choice Award, where members of the public can vote for their favourite business.

Eurobodalla Mayor Liz Innes urged local businesses to put their hat in the ring.

“Entering the Eurobodalla Business Awards is a fantastic opportunity to get your hard work recognised,” she said.

“Winners from each category will proceed to the Illawarra and Far South Coast Regional Business Awards, and businesses can potentially go on to represent the region at a state level, which is an incredible opportunity.

“It also gives you the chance to showcase your business to the local community through the People’s Choice Award.”

Eurobodalla business owners can learn more about the process of entering the awards at information sessions at Batemans Bay, Mogo, Moruya, Narooma and Tilba next month.

The sessions will give details about the awards program, how to use the online entry portal, and tips for writing an award-winning submission.
