FREE LEGAL ADVICE FOR SOUTH COAST RESIDENTS On Tuesday, 25th June 2019, a Solicitor with Shoalcoast Community Legal Centre will be visiting Moruya to provide free legal advice to people with booked appointments. Shoalcoast is situated in Nowra but is funded to provide free legal services along the South Coast. Shoalcoast offers free telephone legal advice on a weekly basis but also regular outreach legal advice sessions to residents of the South Coast. Shoalcoast solicitors are experienced in resolving many types of legal problems. Their advice clinics provide residents of the south coast with a good opportunity to get free professional advice regarding their legal problem. If they are unable to help they will ensure people contacting their service are provided with an appropriate referral to another service which can assist them. Details of the next Moruya legal clinic: When: Tuesday, 25th June 2019 Where: Eurobodalla Family Support Service, Unit 4 24-26 Ford St, Moruya Times: Between 9.30am and 1.30pm Appointments are essential – please call 1800 229 529 or 4422 9529 Appointments can be made for many types of legal problems – Shoalcoast deals with most non-commercial areas of law, including consumer credit and debt, family law involving children, victim’s compensation for childhood assault, sexual assault or domestic violence, Centrelink problems, employment and tenancy. Shoalcoast’s other services include telephone advice sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00am and 12:00 noon. Telephone during these times for staff to complete a client intake and a solicitor will call you back. Shoalcoast can also provide community legal education for groups and organisations.
