Changed Traffic Conditions The Princes Highway At Batemans Bay
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay to complete road safety upgrades after wet weather delayed work scheduled earlier this month.
Single lane closures and stop/slow traffic control will be in place between Cranbrook and Lattas Point roads while new line markings and guardrail are installed.
Work will be carried out on weekdays between 7am and 6pm from Monday 1 July and will take around two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours.
Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, and to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
While these highway safety upgrades are underway, Roads and Maritime will also continue planning and investigation work for the second stage of safety upgrades and work on the South Batemans Bay Link Road project.
