The Riverina Cup at Griffith Kart Club held over the weekend of 22nd -23rd April ran under the format of three heats and a final. The qualification run and two heats were held in daylight with the third heat racing under lights
Aidan qualified 1st and then won all of the three heats winning the event final by a good margin (7 seconds) giving the South Coast karter a clean sweep.
Driving the Dr chassis and supported by the Dr racing kart Australia NZ team, Aidan and his kart was super fast over the weekend.

Warped Race Engines also had other customers with multiple 1sts and podiums for the weekend. So in all it was a successful weekend for our South Coast.
Aiden's mother, Nicole, said "We decided to venture to Griffith as we hadn’t been there for roughly 5 years (Aidan was 9) & as round Two of the Southern Starts Series is being held there in a month's time we thought it would be beneficial as Aidan is leading the series after winning Round one.
"Hopefully he can match his pace when we head back there. The night racing was super cool and a great experience.
"Griffith Kart Club excelled themselves, the atmosphere was friendly and the event was run really well. Great prizes on offer also. A credit to the club.
"Aidan won himself a cash prize of $250 for his efforts and a nice trophy ! He also won a bag of goodies (kart related) for being fastest qualifier in his JNR class.
