NSW Police report:
✈️ AIRCRAFT CRASH NEAR MORUYA AIRPORT ✈️
Emergency services have responded after two people were injured during an aircraft incident at Moruya on the state’s South Coast this afternoon.
Just after 1pm (Thursday 18 December 2019), a single-engine Cessna jet crashed into bushland near the northern end of the Moruya Aerodrome runway after encountering engine problems.
A man and woman onboard suffered head and leg injuries and have been taken to Moruya Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
There were no other people onboard the aircraft
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) have been notified.
