Batemans Bay tennis tournament a testament to the talent and passion of our young tennis players

Mario Kefalas of the Batemans Bay Tennis Club said "I am delighted to announce the successful conclusion of our junior tennis tournament, which took place over the weekend. The tournament, which featured young tennis players from NSW and ACT, was a resounding success, and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to its success. The young athletes displayed outstanding sportsmanship, skill, and determination, making the tournament an exciting and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

"We would also like to extend our gratitude to our sponsors Betta Home Living and Elders Insurance, whose support was crucial in making this tournament a reality.

"Overall, the tournament was a testament to the talent and passion of our young tennis players and the supportive community that surrounds them. We are proud to have been able to provide them with an opportunity to showcase their skills and compete at a high level.

  • Under 14s winner Cooper Jenkinson with finalist Oscar Turner

  • Under 16 winner Georgia Lovegrove and finalist Emerson Canton

  • Under 16s winner Lleyton Jenkinson with finalist Keelan Leahy

  • 12s doubles winners James Kulisiewicz and Parker Thornycroft with finalist Andy Frawley and Anthony Nguyen

  • 16s doubles winners Lleyton Jenkinson and Blake Tinworth with Ryan Tinworth and Oscar Turner
