The final report of KPMG’s review of Bay Pavilions will be presented at next week’s Council meeting.
The review, ordered by general manager Warwick Winn early in 2023, assesses the current operating performance of the facility against the assumptions of the business model and includes seven key findings addressing a range of financial, governance and management issues.
Bay Pavillions Financial Performance Review, Final Report 27 June 2023 along with the KPMG brief will be available in the Council Meeting agenda from Wednesday.
Mayor Mathew Hatcher said he welcomed the review’s public release.
“Transparency is critical for community confidence. There are important lessons to be learned from this review and decisions to be made based on the recommendations in the report.”
Mayor Hatcher recommended public release of the review via a mayoral report to Council in March 2023 to ensure transparency for councillors and the community.
