Bridget McKenzie returns with more mana from the unspent emergency fund

Mogo residents and businesses were surprised to see Bridget McKenzie, Minister for Emergency Management and National Recovery and Resilience, in town with the Liberal Candidate for Gilmore making an announcement of $106 million to improve network resilience in vulnerable areas across the nation will improve telecommunication. Given that the government is in caretaker mode it is not understood if the announcement is a promise if elected, or if it has been funding that has sat in readiness for a Federal Minister to announce during an electioneering period.
