Car crashes into a house at Bellbird Drive, Malua Bay

2EC reports: Four 18-year-olds have been taken to hospital after their car crashed into a house in the Batemans Bay area in the early hours of this morning (Friday December 9).

Around 2am on Friday, emergency services were called to Bellbird Drive, Malua Bay, after reports a vehicle had crashed into a house.

Officers from South Coast Police District arrived on the scene to find a Nissan Skyline had come off the road and crashed into the ground floor of the two storey house.

A NSW Police spokesperson said the four male 18 year-old occupants of the car were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the teenagers was later airlifted to Canberra Hospital for treatment of a broken leg.

The occupants of the home were uninjured.

South Coast Police have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
