Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Batemans Bay Bridge from Sunday 8 November for routine bridge maintenance work.
Single lane closures and stop/slow traffic control will be in place while the work is carried out.
To minimise impact to motorists work will be carried out between 7pm and 5am from Sunday 8 to Thursday 12 November, weather permitting.
During this night work, testing of the bridge lift span will take place and motorists are advised to allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time.
A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will also be in place on the Princes Highway over the Batemans Bay Bridge and on Clyde Street west during work hours for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
