Continuing the strong fields registering for Tuross Head Vets golf on a Wednesday, 63 players registered for the Single Stableford event this week. Scores were again very competitive despite recent coring and sanding of the greens with four players equal top scoring on 24 Stableford points. Count back results proved Chris Wratten to be the winner from Runner Up Gail Rogers and Peter Coffey, with Gail's husband Len rounding out the last of the major prize winners.
Minor prizes went to Dorothy Madden, Steve Swanbury and David Williams on 23, Mike Birks, Ron Hanlon, Solveig Olsson and Ross Davidson on 22, Stephen Crossling, Bruce Ware, Margaret Downey, Gayle Macalpine, Terry Lunn and Greg Smith on 21, and finally Terry Swanbury on 20 after a six way count back. Rick Brake took out the Bradman award, a three way count back being required on the day's lowest scores recorded.
