COVID-19 booster shots are now available!

If you’re 18 years and over and it’s been 6 months since you received your last primary dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, you are eligible to receive a booster vaccine.

The TGA has approved the Pfizer vaccine for the booster shot, which is what you’ll receive even if you had another vaccine for your primary doses unless you’re unable to.

Getting a booster shot is not mandatory, but it will help to maintain the best possible protection against COVID-19 as restrictions ease and you get back to doing the things you love.

You can check when your last dose was by looking at your Immunisation History statement or COVID-19 certificate. If your last dose was more than six months ago, it’s time for a booster.

If you have any questions, it’s best to speak to your GP about your individual circumstances.

Book your booster vaccination appointment by speaking to your GP, visiting a NSW Health vaccination clinic
