Derek Hoare leads golf stableford field home

Tuross Head golfer Derek Hoare has completed another performance round with a score of 39 stableford points in the men’s Saturday May 29th competition.

Nigel Barling was second with 36 points and Ian Miller, David Williams and Ian Manton were the remaining award winners, with each player handing in score cards of 35 stableford points.

Nearest the pins were won by Paul Gilberton, David Gray and Martin Booth in A grade division.

Bruce Handley was the best of the B grade golfers with wins on two holes.

Tuross Head Thursday medley stableford competition was awarded to Ray Bollard with a high 41 stableford points, ahead of David Williams and Ian McManus, who both finished with 35 points.

Leonie Snodgrass, with 34 points, was in the winners presentation group.

Peter Mostyn and Greg Smith were the closest pin winners in the C grade section.
