Eurobodalla flood update

Eurobodalla flood update, Monday 10 October 1pm

Roads and bridges re-opened

  • NEW Eurobodalla Road at Murphys bridge

  • Potato Point Road at Borang Creek

  • Spencer Street west at Racecourse Creek

Roads and bridges closed

  • Dwyers Creek Road at Candoin Creek causeway

  • Congo Road north at the causeway

  • Sunnyside Road at the causeway

  • Comerang Forest Road at Silo Farm bridge

Council crews will continue monitoring the closed roads to get them cleared and open as soon as possible.

A reminder not to swim in the ocean and rivers after heavy rain until the water clears. Hidden debris can be dangerous, and sewer overflows are not uncommon.

Durras Lake opening - A very efficient Durras Lake opening was carried out by Eurobodalla Shire Council employees in the most appalling weather.
