1. Can you tell us about yourself, your history, and your ties to the Eurobodalla?

2. You have a lot of demands on your time - how do you juggle it all? How will you prioritise being mayor if you’re elected? And how much time will you be able to devote to the position.

3. Tell me what has motivated you to run for council?

4. Listeners have voiced concerns about developments (Dalmeny, Tuross, Broulee) and planning concerns and feeling they have been dismissed by council. How do you feel the process with council can be better and more accountable and transparent to voters?

5. What are the priorities of your team if you are voted into council?

6. Housing shortage, lack of rentals, destruction post bushfires, people are feeling crunch are often locals. What role can council play in addressing this situation?

7. Environmental destruction post bushfire. Current council has declined to declare a climate emergency as you may know. Will you declare a climate emergency if elected?

8. How do you feel about major developments like the bypass and hospital. What role do you think council can play in influencing the progression of these projects?

PART 2

1. Can you speak about the current situation in our shire? Where has council done well and

where do you think there is room for improvement?

2. What is the role of mayor in council, and how does it differ from the role of councillors?

3. Our listeners have provided feedback that councillors haven’t been present when they

address a meeting, but the councillors only show up to vote, not having heard their concerns.

They’d like to see this change. Do you think there’s enough diversity on council? How do you think council may foster more diversity?

4. Can you tell me more about your team? How did you find each other? Why do you work well together?

5. YOU’RE RUNNING AS AN INDEPENDENT. Why did you choose to run as an independent? Do you or any of your team, have ties to any political parties? or....

YOU’RE PART OF A POLITICAL PARTY. What benefit do you think the backing of a major political party has for local community?

6. What do you feel your team brings to the table that may be lacking in other candidates?

7. What else would you like voters to know about your team?

8. Businesses have suffered with bushfires, floods, Covid restrictions. A bypass has caused

reduced commerce in other communities. What is your team’s plan to help?
