The Mogo State Forest blockade began at sunrise today with one person perched on a tree top platform, 25m off the ground, suspended by ropes connected to logging machinery.
Above: the tree sit in platform attached to the excavator inhibiting it from working.
Along with other protestors on the ground the blockade continued until after lunch with Police and search and rescue teams attending
The blockade and tree sit ended peacefully this afternoon after the area was declared a crime scene however no charges were laid.
Organisers advise that the action stopped logging operations for most of the day.
