During Family History Month, join us at Moruya Library for the launch of the Moruya and District Historical Society’s latest publication, Bergalia, Meringo, Bingie. 5 Aug 2023 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM at the Moruya Library Vulcan Street Moruya, NSW 2537

Join well-known local figure Shirley Jurmann (nee Louttit), who authored the book about farming communities around the village of Bergalia. It features fascinating images provided by descendants of local families, some of whom still farm locally. Shirley’s family ran local newspaper The Moruya Advertiser and her brother the local printing business – she’s used her long-held local connections to produce several historical publications.

The Moruya and District Historical Society AGM will follow from 2pm
