On Wednesday we had a good turnout of 38 bowlers with winners decided by Highest Winning Margin and this week the winners were Scott Kennedy, Tony Cobcroft and Peter Pickett (skip) who got away to a good start to lead 14 to four after eight ends and continued their top form to move away to a 35 to 13 win against Mark Bartram, Ken Burrows and Mitch Mitchell (skip). Second place went to Peter Dillon, Rob Coulson and Greg Ryan (skip) who have been playing at their top lately and after leading 13 to six after 11 ends they continued that form for a 28 to 10 win against Mick Cavic, Rhys Budnick and Mick Adams (skip). Thank you to Rapley and Sons for their continued support.

On Saturday we had a good turnout and the winners, selected by Lucky Rinks, were Suzanne Dainer and Col Armstrong (skip) who had were up and ready early on to lead eight to one after six ends before scores closed up for a 13 to 11 lead after 14 ends. They drew away again after that to take the match 28 to 16 against Mick Adams and Dennis Maggs (skip).

On Sunday we had three rinks of triples and the winners, decided by Lucky Rinks, were Carol Harraway, Pam Grant and Cindy Newell who didn’t give away a shot for eight ends as they raced away to a 27 to seven margin against Rachael Smith, Sue Wales and Ken Burrows/John Downie (skip).

President Pairs

The Final of the President’s Pairs will be played on Sunday between Jim Constan and Sandra Breust (skip) and Clare Cork and Les Waldock (skip). It should be a very good match, so get down there on Sunday to enjoy the match.
