Social bowls Tuesday 15 November
Last Tuesday saw a small but enthusiastic group take to the green for two games of triples, when a gusty wind prevailed but the rain stayed away.
The game format was to play nine ends, the winning team of each game to move across and play the other losing team .
In an unexpected twist the 'losing team' on rink two was declared the winners. Sue Sansom, Sue Bender and Sue Wales (skip) collected the prize money after losing by one shot to the in form combination of Heather McGourty, Denise Holman and Marg Naylor (skip).
